TWO cars and a bin lorry crashed leaving a woman trapped in her car.

It happened in Titchfield Road, Stubbington, at 10.35am yesterday.

Two crews with around 10 firefighters from Fareham fire station were called to the crash.

They cut a woman from her Vauxhall Vectra. She was taken to hospital in an ambulance.

The male driver of the BMW was also trapped in his car and suffered neck and back injuries.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said the crash meant the road was blocked. It was re-opened by 12.10pm.
