Cyclist injured after Southsea accident

A CYCLIST escaped major injuries after being knocked off his bike by a vehicle.

The man was cycling down Carlisle Road, Southsea, shortly before 3.50pm yesterday.

He was hit by a car and pushed off his bike.

One crew from Southsea fire station was passing, and stopped when they saw the incident.

They called the police and ambulance service.

The cyclist was shaken up, and had cuts and grazes.
