A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital after colliding with a car in Portsmouth.

The man has been taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham after the collision near the Rudmore roundabout at the bottom of the M275 at around 5.30pm today.

The accident caused delays for motorists during rush hour this evening.

It is not yet known how serious his injuries are.
