Have your say

THERE are four days left to comment on a council’s cycling strategy.

Havant Borough Council wants to encourage walking and cycling in the borough in place of short car journeys.

The consultation finishes on Friday.

Councillor David Guest said: ‘Now the summer holidays are upon us, it’s easy to see how things like the school run affect traffic congestion.

‘One in five urban journeys are of a length that could easily be walked or cycled, and if this strategy is successful then everyone will benefit.’
