SIGNALLING problems have caused delays for Portsmouth passengers on trains to London Waterloo.

South West Trains have warned travellers going to the capital through Wimbledon that there are delays of around 10 minutes with some services terminating before London Waterloo.

This is expected until midday.

Engineers discovered a fault with signalling equipment at Wimbledon and South West Trains have had to reduce the number of services travelling through Wimbledon towards London Waterloo.

Trains that would normally travel non-stop through Wimbledon to London Waterloo will come to a stand so the driver is able to seek permission to continue from the signaller.
