ENGINE failure has lead to a revised service for the Hayling Ferry.
The ferry, which runs from Eastney, Portsmouth, to Hayling Island, will be running services every half an hour instead of every 20 minutes.
The revised timetable is likely to go on until 6pm this evening and was reduced due to an engine failure on the ferry.
Geoff Oliver, ferry driver, said: ‘We have a slight problem with one of the engines and we thought it would advisable to reduce the service just for today, while we get new parts.
‘The parts will be here and fitted tonight.’
