A MAN was taken to hospital following a two-car crash.

The driver of a metallic-blue Vauxhall was treated for minor injuries in Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, after complaining of chest pains to paramedics.

He collided with a parked silver Mercedes Benz in Hambledon Road, Denmead, at about 6.30pm yesterday.

Colin Maudsley, 44, lives across the road from where the accident happened and said: ‘We came out when we heard the car alarm go off.

‘The damage to both cars was pretty bad, but I don’t think the Vauxhall driver was badly hurt. It was lucky there wasn’t anyone in the other car at the time of the crash.’
