FOOTPATHS are being improved along Fareham’s West Street, meaning the introduction of temporary traffic lights.

Fareham Borough Council will carry out improvement works to the footpath on the north side of West Street, between Aldi and the A27 Station Road until Monday, June 10.

It will renew the paving and kerbs, widen the footpath in the bus shelter area and putt in a new seat near the bus shelter.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place from 9.30am until 4pm Monday to Friday during the works.

The Gillies car park will be used by the contractor and closed to the public.
