A WOMAN has been cut out of a car after hitting into a tree in Gosport.

It happened at the junction of Angelsey Road and St Mary’s Avenue at 9.16am this morning.

The driver of the Alfa Romeo was put on a spinal board and taken to hospital by ambulance.

Two appliances from Gosport fire station attended, along with an appliance from Cosham and its specialist equipment unit.

The woman was conscious after the crash and details of any injuries are not yet known.
