A FOUR-car crash is causing heavy traffic on the north-bound carriageway of the A3 this morning.

Four vehicles crashed near Butser Hill at 7.15am. Police are on the scene.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: ‘There are no serious injuries but the road is blocked. We are dealing with it as a matter of urgency and are awaiting recovery of the vehicles.’

There is also one lane closed on the M27 after a crash near Fareham between junction 11 and 12.

A white Arctic van and black Alfa Romeo are involved in the collision, police said, an recovery of the vehicles is under way.
