A MAN is recovering after the bike he was cycling collided with a car.

As reported in The News, the 47-year-old was airlifted to hospital after the crash with a Renault Clio at 9.23am on Friday. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance as a precaution.

The incident happened at the junction of Brookers Lane and Carisbrooke Road, in Gosport. The male car driver was uninjured.
