Rail passengers face disruption to services between Havant and Haslemere this morning because of overunning engineering work.

National Rail said trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to half an hour or diverted via Eastleigh.

The work has now been completed, and all lines have been reopened but disruption is still expected until about 9am.

Buses will supplement the rail service between Haslemere and Petersfield, while passengers can also use their rail ticket on Southern services between Portsmouth Harbour and London Victoria.

Tickets can also be used for Stagecoach buses on routes 70, 71, and 72 between Haslemere and Guildford, 37 between Havant and Petersfield, and 23 and 700 between Havant and Portsmouth.
