Have your say

MORE than 160 new passengers have signed up to a community bus service.

Havant’s Call and Go is a flexible bus service which can pick people up from their home address and take them wherever they need to go within the area.

It picks up from across the borough, as well as Horndean, Clanfield and Rowlands Castle.

The service operates on five days of the week – Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Call & Go also includes a journey to and from Commercial Road, in Portsmouth, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The service is jointly funded by Hampshire County Council, Havant Borough Council and East Hampshire District Council.

Fares are made affordable and for people with a discretionary bus pass they are half price.

Many passengers use the service to get to the shops, health centres, to visit friends and relatives or to go to leisure centres.

The vehicles have low-adapted floors so they can be used by passengers who are in wheelchairs.
