THE inquest of a Gosport man who died in a crash on the M3 has been opened and adjourned.

Andy Greest, 54, of Pelham Road, was driving south in his Vauxhall near Winchester services on the M3 on December 15 when his car was in a collision with another Vauxhall at 10.15pm.

No date has been set for the full inquest to be heard.

His family paid tribute to him at the time. Mum Joyce Greest, of Wheeler Close, Gosport, said: ‘I loved him to bits. I can’t believe that he’s gone, I really can’t.’

· A 44-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was bailed until February 28.
