PLANS to introduce a ‘20’s plenty’ scheme in Chichester will be discussed at a decisive meeting today.

County councillors will meet to decide whether to give the go-ahead to fund a consultation about the introduction of 20mph speed limits.

Mike Hall, chairman of the South Chichester Local Committee, said: ‘Before the idea can be taken any further we would need to agree to a public consultation as recommended and refer to the cabinet member for highways and transport for a final decision.’

The meeting starts at 7pm at Committee Room 3, County Hall, Chichester.
