Ice block crashes from sky into garage roof

A MAN had to be cut out of his car following an accident.

The crash happened on Catisfield Lane, Fareham, at around 11.20am yesterday.

Fire crews from Fareham and Hightown, in Southampton, were called to the two-car crash.

They had to use equipment to cut the man out of the vehicle as the airbags had deployed.

A double-manned ambulance collared and boarded the 46-year old car driver and took him to QA Hospital. It is not known how serious his injuries were.
