POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car crash in Portsmouth.

A silver Ford Fiesta hit a traffic island on Anglesea Road, near the junction with Park Road, shortly before 10pm on Tuesday. The driver, a 20-year-old man from Waterlooville, was not injured. The two passengers, men aged 19 and 21 from Portsmouth, received injuries, which were not life-threatening.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses who saw the collision or the moments immediately beforehand.
