FOUR bus services in Gosport will be diverted next week.

From Monday, First Bus routes four, five, six and nine will be diverted due to roadworks in the Privett Road and Gomer Lane area.

The changes will last for five nights between 7pm and 7am, or until the work is completed.

Bus numbers four, five and six to Gosport will now turn right in to Browndown Road from Portsmouth Road, go to the roundabout and then on to Stokes Bay Road before turning left into Jellicoe Avenue. It will then turn right into Privett Road.

The same services from Gosport will follow diversions from the ambulance station to Jellicoe Avenue, before turning right into Stokes Bay Road to the roundabout, exiting into Browndown Road and then turning left into Portsmouth Road.

Service nine to Gosport will be diverted from the second exit of Grange roundabout in to Portsmouth Road, then left into Browndown Road, before taking the second exit of the roundabout to Stokes Bay Road, to Jellicoe Avenue and into Privett Road.
