SIGNALLING problems caused delays of up to an hour on the trains yesterday.

People travelling back to Portsmouth from London were faced with waits after signalling problems between Woking and Guildford. Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour were affected.

A bus service in Guildford was put on while engineers tried to resolve the problem.
