THREE people were taken to hospital following a road collision in Gosport last night.

Emergency crews were called to Grange Lane, Gosport, near to Samson Close, at 7.30pm to reports of a Mini being involved in a collision.

Fire fighters removed the car’s roof and freed the casualties.

The trio were taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, by ambulance and their injuries are described as not life threatening.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said the incident may have been caused by burst tyre.
