THE road between Emsworth and Rowlands Castle has re-opened following an accident this morning.

The B2148 Horndean Road was closed after three cars were involved in a collision.

The crash happened at about 7.20am and involved a blue Toyota car, a blue Mercedes van and a beige Mercedes towing a woodchipper on a trailer.

The Toyota ended up on its side in the road and the chipper in a ditch.

Police were called to the scene but no-one was injured in the crash.

The road was closed for a short time while the vehicles were recovered.
