A broken down car led to two minor accidents and delays on the A27 this morning.
Police were called to the scene on the westbound side of the A27, near Bosham, by the Jaguar owner at 7.50am.
He was concerned that his vehicle, which was three miles west of the Tesco roundabout, would cause an accident.
Police said that shortly after two other vehicles, a Ford Fiesta and a transit van, collided with his car.
The transit van left the scene with minor damage, although the Ford Fiesta had more severe damage.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary assisted Sussex police at the scene and cordoned off a lane.
The black Jaguar was recovered at around 8.30am and the road fully opened shortly afterwards.
Motorists experienced delays of up to 20 minutes.
