TWO people were treated for minor injuries after a Ferrari and a Mazda crashed.

Firefighters and police were called after the two high performance vehicles were involved in the accident in Lockswood Road, Locks Heath.

Police said two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries following the crash, which happened at about 4.30pm on Saturday.

Lockswood Road was cordoned off while the vehicles were recovered from the scene.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called at about 4.30pm. Two people were taken to hospital.

‘The road was shut briefly for recovery of the vehicles.

‘No-one was seriously injured.’
