TWO men have been arrested after a car crashed into the driveway of a house.

A silver Volkswagen Golf left the road and overturned before landing in the driveway of the house in Park Avenue, Purbrook.

Police were called to the house at about 10.10am yesterday.

A red Vauxhall van parked in the driveway of the house was also smashed in the collision and a nearby fence was damaged.

Six police vehicles from Hampshire Constabulary arrived and searched the area.

The two men were later arrested near the road.

No-one is thought to have been seriously injured in the crash and nobody needed to be taken to hospital.
