Fire Fighters have been called to deal with a collision in Southsea.

The fire service said the collision happened at the junction of Allens Road and Welch Road shortly after 5.30pm.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision, and drivers had to be freed from their vehicles by the fire service.

Crews from Southsea attended the scene, along with a special equipment unit from Cosham.

Two casualties have been taken to Queen Alexandra hospital.

The road was cleared at around 6.30pm.
