UPDATE: Lane re-opened following crash on A27 near Portsmouth
ALL lanes along a busy commuter route have now re-opened following a collision earlier this evening.
The third lane of the A27 eastbound carriageway between the M27 and A2030 Eastern Road was closed around 5pm while emergency services work at the scene.
The road traffic system for Hampshire tweeted that delays began to stretch back to junction 11 of the M27.
The situation worsened with queues forming back to junction eight near Bursledon.
The eastbound carriageway lane has now re-opened, but delays remain.
