MOTORISTS are being warned of several road closures due to roadworks taking place this week.

Highways England has revealed carriageway resurfacing on the A3 from Berelands to A3(M) junction 3 Hulbert Road.

This will see the southbound carriageway closed overnight, between 9pm and 6am, tonight.

A signed diversion will be in place via the A272 and A32 to M27 junction 10.

There will also be road marking renewals on the A3(M) from junctions 5 at Bedhampton to 2 at Hazleton.

This will mean the northbound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 9pm and 6am, from tomorrow for two nights.

A signed diversion will be in place via the B2177 and B2149.

Work to install a vehicle detector will also be taking place on the A27 between Eastern Road and Langstone.

The eastbound carriageway between the A2030 Eastern Road and the A3023 Langstone will be closed overnight, between 9pm and 6am, from Friday for three consecutive nights. A signed diversion will be in place via Havant Road and the B2177.
