AVERAGE speed cameras have been installed over the M275 ahead of work on the multi-million pound project to regenerate Tipner.

Work has begun on the new Tipner interchange which will see a new junction built.

The work requires the narrowing of lanes and temporarily lower speed limits on the way in and out of the city.

The restrictions will be enforced when they come into place by average speed check cameras, which have been named ‘yellow vultures’ because of their appearance.
