THREE teenagers were rescued from the chalk pits at Portsdown Hill last night.

Two men and one woman, all 18, climbed 40ft before getting stuck on a ledge.

Two crews from Cosham fire station were called to the scene at 9pm. South Central Ambulance Service sent three specialist response crews and an ambulance.

The rescue took two hours and the teenagers were treated for mild hypothermia.
