Try your hand at netball

PEOPLE over 16 who used to play netball or just fancy giving it a try are being encouraged to join a new netball programme for adults.

East Hampshire District Council is organising the weekly club, which it says is a great way to shed extra pounds gained over Christmas.

It starts on Monday, February 4 at 7pm at The Petersfield School Sports Hall. The eight-week programme is an opportunity to refresh your memory and learn new skills and tactics from a qualified coach in a friendly setting.

The course costs £24.

Councillor Julie Butler said: ‘It doesn’t matter if you have not played netball before, the programme is about trying netball for the first time or getting back into the game after a long break.’

Places are limited so book early. Call 01730 234015 or email kirsty.cope@easthants.gov.uk
