VIEWERS have witnessed them get married on television.

Now Max Laird and his wife Karen Anderson-Laird from the Channel 4 documentary series Seven Dwarfs are getting ready to perform at the Kings Theatre in Southsea.

They will perform in the pantomime production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The couple got married six months ago and to mark their arrival in Portsmouth, they were taken to the top of the Spinnaker Tower.

Max said: ‘The view up there on a day like this is spectacular.’

And he said he’s looking forward to performing at the Kings.

‘It’s great – what a theatre. It’s absolutely beautiful. There’s a lot of history behind it.

‘I am really looking forward to it. It’s going to be hard work but it’s going to be thoroughly enjoyable.’

Sandra Smith, from the Kings Theatre, said: ‘It’s very exciting. They haven’t been to the Kings before and they have fallen in love with the place.

‘They seem so happy. They are buzzing. I think it’s going to be very special.

‘People have seen them on the TV, they saw the programme. So lots of people have spoken about it. Lots of people are looking forward to seeing them perform.’
