X-FACTOR presenter Dermot O’Leary and Brit award-nominated artist Mike Skinner have been confirmed for this summer’s three DJ night sets at Goodwood racecourse.

The events, in June, follow last year’s successes that saw Mark Ronson, Boy George and Chris Evans take to the turntables to entertain thousands of revellers on the racecourse.

Its three events offer a combination of racing, music and dancing between Friday, June 8, and Friday, June 22.

After dark, heels will replace hooves as the Parade Ring transforms into a music arena.

Thousands of visitors are again expected to flock to the stage after the horse racing for an evening filled with music and dancing at what is widely regarded as one of Britain’s most picturesque racecourses in the heart of Goodwood Estate.

As frontman for The Streets, Birmingham’s Mike Skinner, who will be appearing on Friday, June 22, has received four Brit Award nominations.

Having his own radio show, Dermot O’Leary, who is making his way to West Sussex on Friday, June 15, is no stranger to the music world and has been a favourite with his work on ITV’s X-Factor, plus gaining a following from his days as a C4 presenter interviewing of the biggest names in the industry.

The opening act has not yet been released.

Tickets start at £26. For details, contact the ticket office on 01243 755055 or visit goodwood.co.uk
