Two bins alight within an hour

FIREFIGHTERS in Southsea were called out to two bin fires.

Both calls were for Lyndhurst Road, North End, and came just under an hour apart.

The first call came at 10.42pm on Sunday to Lyndhurst Road, North End.

Southsea fire station sent one four-man crew to put out the small blaze.

They were called to the same street again at 11.35pm after the bin was set alight again.

Firefighters believe the two incidents were linked, but they are being treated as non-suspicious.
