FIREFIGHTERS were called to two bin fires overnight.

The first was at Dore Avenue, Portchester, Portsmouth, at 12.53am today.

One crew from Cosham attended and made the scene safe.

A second crew from Southsea was called to an industrial bin fire at 3am on Osborne Road, Southsea, behind the Jewel in the Crown restaurant.

The fire had spread onto the corner of an outbuilding but did not spread inside the building.

Firefighters were on scene for half an hour.
