DRIVERS became caught up in traffic tailbacks after a two-vehicle shunt.

Hampshire Constabulary were called to Gosport during yesterday’s morning rush hour.

Officers were called to the junction of Fareham Road and Camp Road at 8.10am.

An orange Ford Transit van and a red Vauxhall Astra had collided with each other.

The junction was closed for around half-an-hour as the cars were moved to the side.

A spokesman said: ‘We were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Gosport.

‘It was very minor – a shunt.

‘No one was injured.’
