A MAN and a teenager have been taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital after their cars collided on the on the M27 eastbound, between junctions 10 and 11.

Police were called to the crash between a Lexus and Mitsubishi Colt at 3.37pm today and instantly closed lanes one and two to deal with the incident.

The 60-year-old male driver of the Lexus received neck injuries and the teenage driver of the Colt also received minor injuries.

Both were taken to hospital by ambulance after paramedics assessed them at the scene.

Police had cleared the debris and reopened both lanes by 4.30pm.

Traffic was slow moving while police attended the scene, and tail-backs reached as far back as junction nine.
