EXPLORE hidden history at a fully-restored Victorian Fort this Easter.

Fort Nelson, on Portsdown Hill, is holding a whole host of family activities including a recreated test dig where young explorers can help the fort team uncover artefacts from Fort Nelson’s past.

Children can find out how to excavate and examine hidden objects to discover what life as a Victorian soldier was really like.

There will also be daily gun firings at 1pm.

The hidden histories sessions start at 11am, 2pm and 3pm every day from Monday, April 6 until April 17.

Tickets cost £3.50 per session. Exhibition entry, museum admission and parking are free.
