NEW The two baby rams and rabbit that were born at Staunton Country Park

THEY make an unlikely trio, but the arrival of these two lambs and a rabbit show that spring will soon be upon us.

The three have recently been born at Staunton Country Park in what is traditionally seen as a sign spring has sprung.

The twin lambs were born at 4am on February 9, with the rabbit appearing a couple of weeks before that.

And just days later a pygmy goat kid and another pair of twin lambs were born in view of delighted visitors after another dramatic day on the farm.

At around 3pm on February 13 the first lamb was born not breathing. But some life-saving techniques from farm staff had him breaking his first breath moments later.

The second lamb was born shortly after.
