TWO boats were badly damaged by a fire which broke out at a marina today.

Crews from Cosham and Hightown were sent out to the incident at Swanwick Marina, in Swanwick, near Fareham, at 12.55pm.

Firefighters used three jets and a hose reel to put out the fire.

A man was treated for minor burns at the marina by South Central Ambulance Service.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

A Hampshire Fire and Rescue service spokesman said the fire caused 60 per cent worth of damage to one boat, and 20 per cent to the other.
