FIRE crews have rescued two people stuck in a lift just after Valentine’s Day.

The man and woman were released from the lift at Galleon Place in Weevil Lane, Gosport, by two crews from Gosport fire station.

The crews were called just past midnight on Valentine’s Day, at 12.09am on Friday morning.

Firefighters finished rescuing the stricken pair at 12.30am.
