Police force is doing ‘all it can’ to keep residents safe from terrorism

A DRY cleaning van was destroyed by fire.

Two fire engines went to tackle the blaze, which had taken hold of a vehicle parked outside a manor house that had been converted to flats in West Stoke Road, Chichester.

The 999 call came in at about 10.30am on Thursday.

Two breathing devices and two hoses were used to put out the blaze, which was out by about 11.30am.

A nearby garage was damaged by the heat of the flames. The fire started accidentally.
