WE look back at the evolution of Victorious Festival over the last four years.

2015

The line-up included Ray Davies, Tinie Tempah, The Flaming Lips, Johnny Marr, Texas, Basement Jaxx and Primal Scream as well as a string of other national and local acts.

A new stage on the Common acted as the main arena this year, and other stages appeared on Castle Field and at the bandstand.

There was an acoustic stage, beats and swing tent as well as music on a real ale stage.

The festival site welcomed around 120,000 spectators.

2014

The festival moved to Southsea and acts included Tom Odell, Dizee Rascal, Ocean Colour Scene, and Razorlight.

Sophie Ellis Bextor also made an appearance.

2013

The festival was a much bigger affair than its inaugural year and included the likes of Level 42, The Brand New Heavies, Reef, The Cribs, Charlotte Church and Katy B.

2012

The first Victorious Festival attracted 35,000 people to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

Crowds were wowed by performances from dozens of artists such as Mark Morriss of The Bluetones fame, The Silver Beatles, The Bog Rolling Stones as well as Sunday night headliners The Lightning Seeds.
