VOLUNTEERS from an electricity provider got their paint brushes out and their skates on to help revamp Southsea Skate Park.

One of the world’s oldest skate parks, it dates back to a roller rink first built in the 1950s.

The skate park relies on support from the local community to survive.

Nine volunteers from the SSE’s IT department joined Community Fusion, a youth volunteering service, directed by young people, for young people and their communities.
