CHICHESTER will be awash with walkers tomorrow night.
As part of the ongoing fundraising for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, the Moonlight Walk involves a 10-mile walk through and around Chichester starting at midnight.
Since the Moonlight Walk began in 2009, more than 2,600 walkers have raised over £250,000.
The money is essential since the hospice needs to raise £5.6m this year just to continue providing its vital services.
This year’s walk is the 25th anniversary of the hospice.
For this reason a theme of silver has been suggested for the walkers and a special silver certificate will be awarded to anyone who raises £250 or more in sponsorship.
The route takes walkers not only through the city centre but also the more rural pathways, the Roman Walls and Bishop Palace Gardens.

Portsmouth will hold its Moonlit Memories Walk on Saturday night raising money for The Rowans Hospice.
