PEOPLE are being invited to help save lives and get fit by walking 20 miles along the South Downs.

The British Heart Foundation has organised a charity walk from Queen Elizabeth Country Park, near Clanfield, to Staunton Country Park in Havant.

Last year more than 200 walkers took part in the walk, which the charity says is challenging with various ascents and descents.

The event takes place on Saturday, February 26.

Participants can choose from three distances - an 8.5-mile route, a 15-mile walk or the most challenging 20-mile walk.

Walkers need to raise 50 in sponsorship to take part.
