BISHOP’S Waltham Montessori school is taking part in the Toddle Waddle to raise money for Barnados.

The walk is tomorrow at 10.30am in the 100 Acre Wood, Wickham.

The children attending are aged from two to five and will be in fancy dress, walking through the wood following a trail.

There will be nursery rhyme characters which the children will have to find.

It is the UK’s biggest charity event for the under-fives and there will be about 70 to 90 walkers including the children, parents and teachers.

This is the walk’s second year running and organiser Lorraine Hampshire said: ‘We have very generous parents here. Last year we raised £1,300 and this year our target is £2,000, which hopefully we’ll hit.

‘The target this year should be helped out by the fundraising page on the Barnados website, which has been put up to help raise even more awareness.’
