Video shows the moment rock star Nick Mason crashed his £3m car at Goodwood.

The 73-year-old Pink Floyd drummer lost control while on a demonstration lap at the circuit near Chichester.

His McLaren F1 GTR skidded off the track at St Mary’s corner and slid across grass before crashing into a bank.

He was not injured but the front of the car was damaged.

Mason has driven sports cars competitively for many years and has taken part in the classic Le Mans 24 hour race.
