Watch top show for Hannah’s charity
YOUNG performers will take to the stage for a charity pantomime.
A packed house is expected for every showing of Peter’s Panic by the Young Stars Drama Group at Cowplain Social Club, in London Road.
The panto was written by Sue Stokes, a good friend of Pam Marshall, mother of Hannah Westbrook who died aged 10 of Hodgkins lymphoma after a long battle with the illness.
Mrs Marshall set up the charity Hannah’s Holiday Home, in her daughter’s memory. Families who are going through difficult times because of severe illness can rest and recuperate for free at the charity’s luxury static home in the New Forest.
In March a second home opens on Hayling Island.
All the money raised from the shows will go towards the upkeep of the two homes.
Mrs Westbrook said: ‘It’s a brilliant panto. There are jokes in it for everyone.’
The show is on tonight and tomorrow at 7.30pm and Saturday at 1pm.
For tickets, priced £5, call 07790 349876 or 07795 328054.
