A MOTORCYCLE club will continue its effort to raise money for two chosen charities with an evening of dance.

The Waterlooville Motorcycle Club will be in Hordean Technology College on October 22 from 7.30pm.

Social secretary Mike Bowley has organised the bash with the help of his partner and long-time member of the club, Joy Sang.

Joy said: ‘The older members of the club enjoy the music from the 50s and 60s. We’ve got some really good dancers who come out and jive, but we also attract people outside of the club and from dance groups.’

Popular 50s and 60s band Forever Young will get guests off their feet and raising cash for The Rosemary Foundation and Alzheimers Research UK.

This is in addition to the £2,324 already raised at the club’s Old Fossils ride in July.

Joy said: ‘The evening is a really big push for the charities, and everyone just gets stuck in!’

Tickets are just £10 and include a ham or cheese ploughman’s. Email joy.sang@tiscali.co.uk for more details.
