Wave 105 celebrates commercial success

RADIO station Wave 105 is celebrating commercial success.

The latest results from RAJAR’s independence audience research show that it received more than twice the local weekly listening hours of its next commercial competitor. Wave 105 now has 404,000 people tuning in, for an average of 11.2 hours a week, delivering 4,540,000 total listening hours each week; 2,400,400 more than Heart Solent.

Wave 105’s managing director Martin Ball said: ‘Once again we’re thrilled with the results achieved during the past six months and it’s with thanks to our great team and loyal listeners.’
